Redesigning Navigation and Building Community Pages

02Ship started as a course platform. Over the past few days, we've been reshaping it into something bigger — a community hub for people building with AI. That meant rethinking how people find things and where they go to participate.

Get Involved Page

We added a dedicated /get-involved page that gives visitors a clear path to participation. Instead of scattering calls-to-action across the site, this page brings everything together — join the community, submit a project, attend a meetup, contribute to the codebase.

Promoting Daily News

Our AI Daily News was buried under a dropdown. Usage data and feedback told us it was one of the most visited sections, so we promoted it to the top navigation bar. Now it's one click from anywhere on the site.

Telegram Integration

We added Telegram as a community channel alongside Discord and GitHub. The community page now links directly to our Telegram group, giving people another way to connect — especially useful for our Asia-Pacific members where Telegram is more popular.

Ship Weeks Gets a Hero CTA

The /ship-weeks page got a proper hero section with a call-to-action button. Previously it was just a list of weeks — now it invites people to join the current cohort right at the top. Small change, big difference in conversion.

Why This Matters

Every one of these changes is about reducing friction. People shouldn't have to hunt for how to participate. The navigation should reflect what matters most. And every page should have a clear next step. We're not done — but 02Ship is starting to feel like a community, not just a website.
