Repositioning 02Ship as a Claude Builder Community

When we started 02Ship, the focus was courses — teaching non-programmers how to build with AI coding tools. That's still core to what we do. But something interesting happened: people didn't just want to learn. They wanted to build together, show what they made, and get feedback from others on the same journey.

So we're leaning into that.

From Course Platform to Community

02Ship is evolving into a Claude builder community. The courses aren't going away — they're becoming one part of a bigger picture that includes:

  • Project Hub — a showcase where community members display what they've built
  • Cohorts — structured ship weeks where a group builds and ships together
  • Meetups — in-person and online events for learning and sharing
  • Daily News — curated AI news to keep everyone informed

The Project Hub Model

The Project Hub (our /ships page) is the centerpiece. Instead of just consuming content, community members become creators. Build something, submit it, and it gets featured on the site.

This creates a virtuous cycle: new members see what others have built, get inspired, join a cohort, build their own project, and submit it to the hub. The community feeds itself.

Cohorts Over Solo Learning

We've found that people are more likely to finish a project when they're building alongside others. Ship weeks give structure — a start date, an end date, and a group of people all pushing toward the same deadline.

It's not a bootcamp. There's no curriculum to follow. You pick your own project, use whatever AI tools you want, and ship by the end of the week. The community provides accountability and support.

What This Means for You

If you've been thinking about building something with AI tools but haven't started — this is your invitation. Join a ship week, build something small, and submit it when you're done. You don't need to be a programmer. That's the whole point.
